NearVision CK
NearVision CK is a very safe, non-invasive procedure for improving near vision. NearVision CK is the only FDA approved procedure for correcting near vision. Dr. Pinke performs CK here at the Pinke Center for Eye Health in about three minutes. This advanced new vision procedure uses radio waves (instead of a laser) to reshape the cornea. There is no surgery, no cutting and no tissue removal. NearVision CK is usually performed on just one eye, improving near vision without compromising your ability to see far away. CK is also performed in people who are far sighted and can no longer see at distance or near without glasses. One eye, usually the "dominant eye" is corrected to restore the distance vision, and the other eye, is corrected to improve reading vision, creating a "blended vision" that allows people to once again see near and far without glasses.
- Are you over 45 years old?

- For most of your life, have you had good distance vision without glasses?

- Are you tired of reading glasses?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, Call the Pinke Center for Eye Health today for a free consultation.

What happens during NearVision CK surgery?
Eye Logo
Radio waves are gently applied to the cornea in a circular pattern, entirely avoiding the pupil. The radio waves form a ring that tightens and steepens the cornea (like tightening a belt). The result is almost instant near vision improvement. Because there is no cutting, side effects are minimized for a speedy recovery.
